OUR MISSION

We are a small company in Austin, Texas that produces fine art prints and organic cottons linens for the home.

Original watercolor paintings by Aletha SaintRomain are featured on all of our items. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and the flowers and plants that attract them adorn all of our products.

The quiet beauty of the natural world is our greatest passion, and our items are meant to share that deep connection with nature.

It’s no secret that our planet is in pretty bad shape, and a lot of that damage has been caused by industrialized farming practices. We want to be a part of a supply chain that minimizes the harm done to our soil, air and water. We support the organic farming practices that promote a healthier world for farmers, mill workers, makers, and ultimately for you, our customer.

OUR TEXTILES

Our teatowels, aprons and totes are woven from 100% organic U.S. grown cotton, then cut and stitched by hand here in Texas. Leftover fabric is repurposed and upcycled. Our t-shirts and baby onesies are made of the very softest organic cotton, grown and manufactured in a Fair Trade Certified facility in India. The workers are paid a fair living wage and work in a safe environment that is committed to the values and practices of fair trade.

Our artwork is imprinted onto unbleached organic cotton fabric using a process called Direct to Garment printing, which uses water based inks and produces little waste. This is an Earth-friendly technique that results in beautifully detailed printing that will retain its vivid image after repeated washings.

CARE

Wash our textiles in any temperature water. Remove them promptly from the dryer, if you use one, since our items are not treated with chemicals to prevent wrinkling. We recommend line drying. Pretreat spots with any fabric stain remover, but please don’t use chlorine bleach, as it will remove the natural color
of the cotton.

WHY ORGANIC COTTON?

Organic cotton growing practices protect farmers, wildlife and communities from harmful pesticides and keep our water and soil healthy for all. No toxic chemicals are used in the growing of organic cotton. It uses far less water and energy to produce than conventional cotton, which uses about 16% of the world’s insecticides and 7% of the world’s pesticides. We invite you to support our organic cotton farmers and join our shared goal of promoting a safer healthier world for all living things.
